Jacob and Molly

Thank you for the courage you had to choose life for this child.

Letter to the Birthmother

Dear Birthmother, Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us! You are a very special person to our family. We pray daily for you and your child and continue to pray that God will guide and direct your steps moving forward. Thank you for the courage you had to choose life for this child. We are honored to be writing this letter to you and to share our story with you. We are Jake and Molly. We have been married for 2 years. Jake owns his own company installing doors, frames, and hardware in commercial buildings. I was an elementary school teacher for 5 years, but now currently work as the administration for our church. We do not have any children. We always knew at some point in our marriage we wanted to adopt. After not getting pregnant over these past two years, we believe the Lord is leading us to adopt first. Our faith and family are very important to us. We are very active in our church – both serving in multiple areas – and are excited to raise our family on the foundation of Christ, loving and leading in our church. We both have big families who are excited to welcome a new little one into the family! Jake is outgoing, creative, faithful, and funny. He loves to be active, sing & play guitar, and spend intentional time with friends & family. “Molly is gentle, caring, and selfless. She loves to cook & bake, garden, and spend intentional time with friends & family.” We love to travel around the US and countries overseas. We value learning about different countries and their cultures. Please know that your child will be raised knowing how much you love them and how selfless you were to make the courageous decision of adoption. We are so excited to welcome a child into our home soon. We are sending you love, prayer, and support in Jesus’ name! With Love, Jake and Molly

About Us

We first met at our church in 2019. We both served as youth leaders in our Student Ministry and had the same circle of friends. The more we were around each other, the more we wanted to be. We became close friends, and both knew in our hearts that we wanted to be more than friends. September 2021 – I had jaw surgery. I do not remember this, but Jake was the first person I texted after waking up from surgery, with a very unflattering selfie. That moment is what gave him the assurance to pursue a relationship. At the end of September, we went on a hike with some of our friends. This day was filled with a lot of spontaneity, fun, and laughter. Jake states he knew after this day that he was ready for forever with me. The next day after church, he asked me to get ice cream. We spent 9 hours talking and sharing stories from our lives. April 2022, we got engaged and on October 10, 2022, we got married! We’ve made so many memories together and love each other even more than the day before. We are each other’s best friend. Jake is the most hard-working, kind-hearted, selfless man. Jake – I love tennis, soccer, and being active as a whole – regardless of the sport! I love geography and history, and enjoy reading about the topics, this spills over into my love for traveling. I lead worship at church and lead the young adult ministry – ages 18-25 – with Molly. I also am the owner of my own construction company. “Molly is incredibly nurturing, selfless like no other, the most fun person, and the absolute best home maker.” Molly – I love spending time with friends and family, baking & cooking, playing tennis, spending time outside & in the garden, traveling (our favorite place in the world is London). I work for our church but will be a stay at home mom once we have children. Together we love to play tennis, go for walks/hikes, spend intentional quality time together goofing off, time with friends & family, and we love to travel and see the world!
